THE MAN WITH MISSION

He was the man with the mission
Who stood firm on his decision

He also has marked his presence
Following the path of nonviolence
He also tried to fast unto death
He was strong by soul and breath
And clear about his aim and vision

Quite a simple life he had followed
Others sorrows he often borrowed
Sacrificed himself for other’s good
And in worst situations he stood
Dealing with purpose and precision

With a stick which he used to walk
There was some magic in his talk
As all the audience were spell bound
Hearing his speech on the ground
Not to move without his permission

He was a man with rare abilities
No one can question his capabilities
He stood against the British Empire
And faced their anger and their ire
And finally forced their submission

And with my words you will agree
That he only made my country free
Gifted us freedom and independence
He had courage and bravery immense
He is truth, which seems an illusion

THE GIRL NEXT DOOR

She is quite simple; she is the girl next door
She’s really attractive too and that’s for sure

She’s on the roof putting clothes on the ropes
After washing them with detergents and soaps
She’s quite busy towards her everyday chore

Often I see her sneaking through the curtains
As her shadow too falls on the window panes
They make her attempt to hide a total failure

And when I look at her she’ll just shy away
But again she will return each and every day
I know this will happen again just as before

Supporting herself on the railing she’ll lean
Or she will bend down with a broom to clean
The dust that sometimes settles on the floor

In between us, I think something is going on
Something to loose and something to be won
Wish I could know what all I have to endure

Sometimes she is happy and sometimes upset
She often smiles, but I even see her eyes wet
She is very sweet but some times she is sour

In her eyes there seem to be many a question
Expecting the answers with love and affection
As about my feelings she too needs to assure

THE FACTOR X

This is I’ve often heard, it’s the factor X
It’s quite complicated, its quite complex

It may be in character or the appearance
Goes way ahead to establish the presence
It also enhances one’s name and the fame
And helps you to win honor and acclaim
Still its description is often quite perplex

You may also seem arrogant or else rude
As it has a deep affect on one’s attitude
And it helps you get love and also adored
If you have it in you, your win is assured
It’s really difficult to develop or to access

It may be your magnetism or the charisma
Spreading your fragrance and your aroma
In and around the surrounding atmosphere
And its affects are often strange and queer
Capturing the sight that refracts and reflex

There are attractions and also retractions
And it is also influenced even by actions
Making you straight forward or shrewd
Affecting the manners that’s bad or good
As lips can smile or else muscles can flex
