DEATH OF A LIFE

From what I saw, this what I could make
Though the person I looked at was awake
The breath was weak and difficult to take
And I saw in real the life that was at stake

The pulses also were running really slow
And the blood pressure was also very low
As the heart beat seemed to be feeble too
The chances of recovery was almost few

The mouth was covered by oxygen mask
That was properly performing the task
From the veins the fluid was being sent
For the cure these measures were meant

This was in intensive care and ventilation
To save the life they made all preparation
Blood tested as blood group was matched
And then bottles of blood were attached

The blood was then injected and infused
Other medical technology also introduced
X-ray, Ultra Sound, MRI and the CT scan
They were trying to do the best they can

But then these measures just went in vain
As they totally failed to reduce the pain
The body also now just stopped to move
So all the equipments they had to remove

I saw a gathering of friends and relatives
Taking account of treatment initiatives
Their eyes were moist with emotions deep
As some did cry and the others did weep

To save the life they had tried every way
In front of God they bent down to pray
With folded hands they looked with hope
As from other ends there was no scope

There're many things you can’t control
You can protect the body, not the soul
For it would escape when it is destined
In the time and hours God has defined

And always remember in every breath
That in the end you have to face death
This’ll always be an unsolved mystery
As death is the climax of the life’s story

THE SEA I SAW

I saw the sea for the first time one fine day
When I was lazily moving around the bay
And as I was slowly walking by the beach
I could feel the sea just within my reach
Also the approaching waves towards me
As I felt them from my feet on to my knee
The sea is home to many of the creatures
The turtles, the fishes, whales and oysters
And I felt on myself the gentle sea breeze
That also rustled the leaves of palm trees
I heard the noise of waves on the rocks
And looked at birds above flying in flocks
As whole scene became just mesmerizing
When the waves and high tides are rising
The dusk and the dawn on the other end
Turned the horizon into a golden blend
The sun reflected on the shimmering water
Making you aware of all the divine power
The scenic beauty almost stops the breath
As it looks like a kind of heavenly wreath
You find people here busy in games and play
As here you get entertained in many a way
Often tasting the delicacies of the sea food
That is quite nourishing and just too good
Ships returning and also upon the voyage
Hoping not to face the sea’s anger and rage
In the form of tsunami, storms and cyclone
As the widespread destruction is well known
Hoping the waters remains calm and peace
Every voice praying for the sea to appease
At the shore, I realize the gentle sand below
My feet where the sea water is very shallow
It is a source to the salt that is our necessity
Besides, the importance of the sea is infinity
May be life must also have originated here
Compared to us nature is always superior
This is what did I experience and I learned
From the sea, vast knowledge I had earned

MS. TEMPERAMENTAL

All of a sudden, her temper fluctuates
Suddenly she loves suddenly she hates

Most of the time she’s quite confusing
And her attributes are quite amusing
From her assumption she won’t budge
It’s really difficult to savor her grudge
And that is what her character states

Just do not get swayed by her charms
As they cloak her weapons and arms
But then she doesn’t means any harm
As her behavior’s soothing and warm
Difficult to guess where it originates

She may be bitter, she may be sweet
With a cheerful smile, she may greet
She may also detest, she can be worse
As she can shout and inflict the curse
Because her temper often escalates

She may pretend to be soft and gentle
But she also inherits the proven mettle
Giving her quite an edge over her foes
Which is concealed and seldom shows
About her vivid perception that creates
