PASSING THOUGHTS

Once again now another year will end
Present like past memories will blend
Again few thought will bend to know
To seek what future will comprehend

Losses to mourn and gains to cherish
In these calculations time will spend
Of all the reminiscent of gone by era
Some are perfect and some to amend

Agony and pain, happiness and bliss
The mind they fasten and apprehend
But trying to get rid of their custody
Often in the end, the efforts suspend

Nothing too bad or nothing too good
All must be accepted without offend
Even if victory appears beyond reach
On your will the triumph will depend

Forget not the past, don’t even ignore
For thro’ it, the future will transcend
Help you escalate ahead in your life
And from misfortunes it will defend

By an end, a new beginning is carved
Beyond death, a new life will ascend
In each one both good and evil exists
Rinsing your soul live as a reverend

And don’t flee with fear of obscurity
As not all thrive, unless they intend
For not all leave the mark upon time
But when they do, become a legend

FLOWERS

Sometimes I am lost in the imagination
Along divine attraction and fascination

Decorating around with vibrant colours
In autumn, spring, winter and summers

Blooming and blossoming all through
Gently the beauty of world will accrue

Vibrant image of the stunning flowers
Soothing within even in the wee hours

For looking over magnolia and acacia
Almost loses into the wishful amnesia

Again the sight of begonia and zinnia
Interpret slowly in a celestial insignia

Viewing the lilies and the buttercups
With unquenched thirst and hiccups

Even seeing tulips and the daffodils
Budding around mountains and hills

Glancing at the dahlias and bluebells
About the divine art speaks and tells

Smell of the hibiscus and the jasmine
Soothes through the deep soul within

Then it is daisy and chrysanthemum
Creating again a picturesque rhythm

And never to miss the lotus and rose
On them are many poems and prose

Their silent splendors and fragrance
Smears and portrays heart and sense

But again they shouldn’t be plucked
And in bouquets must not be tucked

Let them live in trees and the plants
With their simple desires and wants

And just as the sun, moon and stars
Similarly is the significance of flowers

SOLE ATTITUDE

Often in solitude few thought ensued
And then gently on my soul accrued

Whenever from now you’ll be alone
You can peacefully be on your own

Hence you will not have to pretend
There will be just no one to offend

And then you can always be at ease
As there’ll not be anyone to please

No one will order, no one will shout
You can now peacefully move about

Neither quarrels again nor any fight
You’ll find time to seek your insight

No hindrance, nor any disturbance
You can lose self in sheer ignorance

No job or errand will any one assign
Any time one can sit back and recline

No concerns, also no more worries
You will get rid of all the miseries

Not to be a host to welcome a guest
Nothing to like and nothing to detest

And there isn’t anything bad or rude
It will just portray a peaceful attitude

Nothing to commit, nothing to expect
This life will now be just so perfect
