QUEST OF PEACE

Just a humble request for silence please
May be it is required to describe peace
Priceless devoid of dollars and pennies

But to some odd ones it won’t appease
To see and accept the violence to cease
As jealousy and hatred bend their knees

Peace isn’t just silence nor is it a noise
It’s one’s opinion and it is one’s voice
A blooming flower or humming of bees

And as I try to portray peace in words
I imagine it as the flying flock of birds
That rids one of the sorrow and worries

It is a feel with a touch soft and gentle
Blends with sense by fragrance subtle
Rising like waves thro’ the sea breeze

It’s a dream in eerie stillness of night
Its hope burning as distant candlelight
To unfasten joy with the faith’s keys

It is about sharing and about sacrifice
For the world its necessity and suffice
Similar to the importance of the trees

Its seems to be genuine and even fake
If its profound existence one can stake
Life and world will always be at ease

It is what is spoken of, for it they pray
But everyone forgets is at end of day
It is that my heart presumes and sees
