it’s my own mind which I want to read
finding answers to queries that i need
it leads to the thoughts just like the tides
on them one’s emotion and feeling rides
it can either be slow or it can have speed
it makes a saint and it can make a crook
frontiers of one’s image it always shook
one can be selfless, one can have greed
its powers are limitless, and also infinite
it darkens the thought, it can also alight
to the newer horizons, it can always lead
you can’t free yourself from it’s control
it influences the body and also the soul
you can not escape, how much you plead
without your mind, you can’t be defined
and accordingly your behavior’s inclined
as it’s the one that controls all your deed
